General Position Summary:

The incumbent will manage all legal and contracts-relatedfunctions for Sterling Green Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (SGPS). The role isresponsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contractualarrangements with clients, subcontractors, dealers, distributors, andsuppliers, ensuring that SGPS’s commercial and legal interests are fullyprotected.

A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills is essential for engaging independently with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft and review MSAs, MOUs, Distribution &Dealership Agreements, Technology Purchase Agreements, NDAs, and Partnership/Teaming Agreements for domestic and international markets.
    • Support the SCM team in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase order (PO) terms and conditions.
    • Prepare formal contractual correspondence with clients and vendors.
    • Identify and outline contractual and legal risks during project discussions and execution.
    • Provide comprehensive legal support through out tendering, drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution phases, incoordination with Group Legal.
    • Independently negotiate contracts with domestic and international entities.
    • Maintain strong knowledge of international contracting and industry best practices.
    • Prepare, review, and finalize agreements, MOUs , term sheets, and other contract documents.
    • Handle additional contract or commercial tasks as assigned by management.
    • Collaborate with internal teams for legal, contractual, and financial clarifications or support.

     Desired Skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); additional qualifications in commercial or financial management preferred.
    • 8–12 years of hands-on experience in managing complex contracts.
    • Strong grounding in Contract Law, Arbitration Law, and relevant statutory frameworks.
    • Knowledge of Term Sheets, EPC Contracts (FIDIC or international formats), and Service & Supply Contracts.
    • Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
    • Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project/supply chain tools.
    • Solid understanding of project risk management.
    • Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Excellent follow-up, monitoring, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with teams.
